70 Patients Examined In Mental Health Camp

 Saharanpur/UP: On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, a mental health check-up and treatment camp was organized at SBD District Hospital in which 70 patients were examined.The camp was inaugurated by former MLA Rajiv Gumber.

 During the program, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjeev Manglik said that the treatment of various mental ailments should be done at the same time as physical ailments.  He said that if mental illnesses are treated in time, the situation can be controlled to a great extent.  He appeal the common people not to hide mental illnesses but to treat them on time.

 Certificates were distributed to retarded children in a major mental health check-up and treatment camp.  Around 70 patients were tested in the camp in which 27 patients were found to be mentally disturbed and ill. 

 They were given medicines and psychological treatment.  Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Yadav, Nodal Officer Shivanka Goud and District Program Manager Mr. Khalid Hussain and all the employees of NCD Cell were present on this occasion.
