 DM visits site of Shakumbhari University.

 Saharanpur: District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra conducted a surprise site inspection of the under-construction Maa Shakumbhari University and discussed in detail with the Vice-Chancellor the preparations for the upcoming academic session.  Expressing  displeasure on the slow progress found during the inspection he warned to take strict action if the expected progress is not made.

 He directed the concerned firm to engage additional labor and work in two shifts to complete the work within the stipulated time.  So that the academic block and administration block should be completed within the prescribed period. He said that construction of the university is a high priority of the government.  Any kind of negligence would not be acceptable in the construction work.

 D M said, "The construction  of the university is included in the priority works of the Chief Minister, so any kind of negligence will not be accepted in this.  Also, there will be no compromise with the quality of work.  During the inspection" Vice-Chancellor Prof. Hriday Shankar Singh, Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Mr. Rajneesh Kumar Mishra, site engineer and employees of PWD and executive organization were present.
