 'Operation Drishti' to prevent criminal incidents 

 Saharanpur/Up: It is often seen that due to non-availability of CC TV cameras in public places, criminals run away fearlessly after carrying out any criminal incidents.  To prevent any kind of incident, 'Operation Drishti' campaign is being run by the police, under which CC TV cameras will be monitored with the help of big business establishments, petrol pumps, roadside offices and house owners in the district.

 SP Traffic Siddharth Verma said, "While running away after committing a criminal incident,  miscreant may come in reach of any camera installed on the side of the road what will help a lot in identifying the person.  Due to which criminal incidents will be curbed. In view of this campaign, all the CO's and police station in-charges are meeting the owners of cities, towns, public places and institutions in their area where cameras are already installed and appealing for cooperation from the point of view of service for the safety of the common man."

 This 'Operation Drishti' campaign is being appreciated everywhere.  People say that this effort of the police will reduce the number of criminal incidents.
