 Marriage of 101 couples solemnized Under the 'Mukhymantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana'

 Saharanpur: 'Under the Mukhymantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana' the marriage of 101 couples (79 Hindu couples and 22 Muslim couples) in the district was solemnized as per their customs in the premises of Government ITI, Saharanpur. On the occasions Rampur Maniharan MLA Devendra Nim, Baliyakhedi block Prmaukh Sonia, Vijay Singh block Pramukh representative Rampur Maniharan, BJP' leader Neelu Rana, BJP leader Sanjay Choudhry and other representatives blessed the newly married couple.

 District Social Welfare Officer Ms. Archana said that under the scheme, out of the amount of Rs 51000 spent per couple by the government, Rs 35000 will be transferred to the girl's account. 10000/- for anklets and utensils etc. and 6000/- for organizing the program.She told that in the program marriages of 101 couples were solemnized with full rituals. On this occasion, Block Development Officer Rampur Maniharan Yogendra Pundir, Assistant Development Officer (ISB), Trilochan Singh, Assistant Development Officer (SC), Sunil Kumar Assistant Development Officer (SC), Pushpa Sharma Village Development Officer (SC), Nidhi etc. were present in the program.
