Bird flu: CVO advises to take precautions
Saharanpur: Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. MP Singh Gour on Monday informed about Bird flu and advised to take preventions of Bird flu and its infection. According to him Bird flu is a virus infection that spread in birds. This virus can also infect other animals including humans. The transmission of bird flu in humans usually occurs due to close contact with birds. It is important to identify the symptoms of infection in time.
He said, "In case of infection from birds to humans, the chances of them getting cold, fever, cold cough and sore throat increases. While in severe cases, bird flu can cause breathing problems. Body pain,muscle stiffness, feeling of extreme fatigue, weakness, diarrhea and diarrhea can occur."
"To avoid bird flu infection by staying away from infected birds, eating healthy poultry products, washing hands, maintaining hygiene can reduce the risk of flu. If Bird flu infection is find in any area, safe disposal of infected birds must to privent the spread of the virus. To do so we protect the health of other birds and humans " he added.
