    CM Yogi visites Shakumbhari University

    Instructed to complete 100% work by 30th April 

    Saharanpur: During his visit to the Maa Shakumbhari University CM Yogi Adityanath on Monday instructed to complete the work of university 100% by 30th April. He distributed loans to young entrepreneurs and targeted SP suprimo AKhilesh Yadav without using his name. He saw the 3D model of the university and took detailed information regarding the construction. He instructed not to have any problem of waterlogging anywhere. 

    Yogi Adityanath reached Sarsawa airport at 11 o'clock. Then left for Maa Shakambhari Devi University located in Puvaranka by helicopter where he inspected the university and held a review meeting. While inspecting the academic building, the Chief Minister saw the classrooms,  furniture and took information from the Vice Chancellor on various points including Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs. He saw the 3D model of the university and took detailed information regarding the construction. He instructed not to have any problem of waterlogging anywhere. He directed to open schools only after conducting a survey and utilize vacant land of the university properly. After that he reached Janmanch auditorium and distributed loans to young entrepreneurs. A loan of Rs. 14.70 crore under the Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan to 365 youth,  Rs. 14.84 crore to 121 youth under the Chief Minister Yuva Swarojgar Yojana, Rs. 10.87 crore to 58 beneficiaries under One District One Product Scheme, tool kit to 100 beneficiaries under ODOP, Rs. 65.07 lakh to 09 beneficiaries of  Mukhymantri Gramodyog Rojgar Yojana, Rs. 15.85 lakh to 07 beneficiaries of Mukhymantri mala Rojgar Yojana, and Rs. 5.19 crore to 310 self-help groups under National Rural Livelihood Mission were distributed by Cm Yogi.

     Adressing entrepreneurs Yogi  said, "Previous government gave one district one mafia. We gave one district one product. There were handicraftsmen earlier also but the previous governments did nothing for them. The public used to yearn and their henchmen used to destroy the state.Ten  years ago no one could have even imagined that a university would be built in Saharanpur in the name of Maa Shakumbhari Devi. But our government has built a university in Saharanpur in the name of Maa Shakumbhari. The work is being done for the beautification of Maa Shakumbhari Dham and to ensure that the devotees coming there in every season do not face any problem." 

    "Wood carving is getting global recognition today through Saharanpur's identity One District One Product. The wood carving product of this place worth about Rs 1000 crore is being exported and reaching the world market. These artisans and handicraftsmen were there earlier also but no work was done for them." he added.

    Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that 60,244 youths have been recruited in the police in Uttar Pradesh. Many youths from Saharanpur have also got jobs in it. More than 12,000 daughters have been recruited in it. Earlier also 1,56,000 recruitments were done. Earlier 7,50,000 youths of Uttar Pradesh have been given government jobs. Chief Minister said "Our government is working with good intentions and positive thinking. Work is being done without discrimination while respecting the sentiments of the people. Earlier no one wanted to set up an industry. Today, along with daughters and businessmen, the common citizen is also safe. Today Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a big economy in the country which was earlier considered a sick state. The state is currently the number two economy of the country. The speed and skill that UP has today will make it number one within the next four to five years.  That is why a new environment has been created for industrial investment also." 

    The program was attended by several dignities, including Minister of MSME, Khadi and Village Industries, Silk Industry, Handloom and Textiles Rakesh Sachan, Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay, Minister of State for Public Works Department Brajesh Singh, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Industrial Development Jaswant Saini, MLA Nagar Rajiv Gumbar, MLA Gangoh Kirat Singh, MLA Rampur Maniharan Devendra Nim, MLA Nakud  Mukesh Chaudhary, Vice Chancellor Prof. Y. Vimala, District Magistrate Manish Bansal, Senior Superintendent of Police Rohit Singh Sajwan, Additional District Magistrate Judicial Ram Asare Verma and senior officers of concerned institutions. CM Yogi reached Siddhpeeth Maa Shakambhari Devi where he offered prayers and had darshan of Maa Bhagwati and then reviewed the Shakambhari Devi tourism schemes. During this, CM Yogi looked serious about the development of Shakambhari Devi. CM greeted the people and people raised slogans of Yogi Zindabad. After that CM returned to the helipad and he left for Lucknow via Sarsawa. Strict security arrangements were made by the police and administrative officials regarding the arrival of the CM.
