Covid Protocol will be strictly followed during the weekly closure- DM 

 Saharanpur/ UP: District Magistrate Akhilesh Singh has directed the officers for effective prevention of corona infection, the prescribed protocol of Covid will be followed during the weekly closure on Saturday and Sunday.  He said that the special campaign of cleanliness would continue continuously at the level of Municipal Corporation, Nagar Panchayat and Gram Panchayat in the district. 

He said that the supply of essential commodities should be ensured in the Containment Zone and strict compliance of Covid rules should be made in the Containment Zone. He said that masks would be mandatory in every corner of every urban and every rural area of ​​the entire district.  Failure to comply with this will result in a fine.  It will be the direct responsibility of the SHO of all the concerned police stations to ensure the essentiality of masks. 

 Senior police and administrative officers will personally inspect the main roads, squares and markets etc. to ensure the essentiality of masks.  He said that the use of masks, social distancing and sanitizers and strict compliance of Covid-19 protocol should be ensured. Dispose of the garbage removed from the drain immediately.  All the executive officers should inspect and submit the report of the cleanliness of the drain.  He said that if the drains are not cleaned during inspection by him, then action will be taken against the concerned executive officer as per rules.
