 Commissioner inspected the B.R Ambedkar stadium

Saharanapur/ Up: Commissioner Lokesh M. surprisingly inspected  the international level 400 meters (08 lane) synthetic athletic running track being built at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Sports Stadium.  He instructed the working organization that the quality of athletic running track should be as per international standards.  Along with high quality in construction work, it should also be ensured that international standards are followed.  He also directed that the incomplete work of 400 m (08 lane) synthetic athletic running track should be completed at the earliest after the rainy season.  It should not be neglected at any level.

 Taking information about the components being used in the construction of the track by the Commissioner, the Project Manager, UPPCL-Unit 26, present on the spot, was directed to make the track using high quality material at the earliest so that the children could play as soon as possible.  And to make the track available for exercise.  He observed the possibility of water logging due to the elevation of the ground near the track.  After making the immediate feel of the place, instructions were given to construct a pedestrian path with interlocking tiles.

 After cleaning the area around the under construction track with JCB machine, it was also directed to develop it properly.  During the inspection of the Commissioner, UPPCL-Unit Head as well as Engineers and officials of the Sports Department were present.
