Take Special Care Of Animals In Summer: CVO
Saharanpur/Up: In summer, animals often face health-related problems, which also reduces their milk production capacity. According to Chief Veterinary Officer Rajeev Saxena in the summer, the animal keepar should take special care of the animals. Animals should be saved from direct sunlight and keep drinking enough water.
He informed, "The animals should be kept in shady places. Make proper arrangement for their drinking water. Use neem leaves to keep away from flies and mosquitoes. From time to time, keep giving medicine for stomach worms to animals. Also, feed them rock salt. Get animals bathed two or three times a day and keep the quantity of green grass high".
He told, "Animals should be kept away from direct sunlight. Especially keep pregnant female animals in the shade. Before noon, get animals taken bath with cold water and tie them in the shed. Get the animals medically examined from time to time. In case of health problems, seek treatment from the nearest doctor."
