 Mayor Dr. Ajay Kumar visits flood-affected areas

 Saharanpur.  Mayor Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh visited flood-affected Sukkhupura, Beribagh, Balmiki Basti and flood relief camp and took stock of the arrangements.  He also inspected the relief camp set up by the administration and the Municipal Corporation at Beribagh Primary School and the arrangements made there. He requested the flood victims to come to the relief camp.

 He said,  "Arrangements have been made for food, medicine and security etc. in the relief camps by the administration, police and municipal corporation.  The Municipal Corporation and the administration, on their part, are busy making arrangements for people by taking them to safe places, but even after this, if anyone needs any relief, they can call on the numbers of the corporation control room."

 On the other hand, 25 cows were taken out by the Municipal Corporation with the help of the local people and taken to a safe place in Shivdham due to the flooding of water in the Gaushala located at Buddhughat near Babalal Das Bara due to the inflow in Pavdhoi. Dr. Sandeep Mishra told that five quintals of straw has also been sent to the site from Kanha Upvan Gaushala run by the corporation for the cattle.
