DM sows super Napier grass in Remount Depot

Saharanpur: District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra reached Remount Depot and sowed super Napier grass. Horses are trained in Remount Depot. They are used in the services of Army and other prestigious institutions. DM said that horses will get benefit immensely by having nutritious and healthy grass like Napier grass.

Dr. Dinesh Chandra said, " Napier grass will be planted on 50 acres of land at Remount Depot. Seeds have been made available for sowing at the depot." DM praised the work being done by Colonel Navdeep Yadav and his team for the development of Remount Depot and training of horses living there. Officials of Remount Depot expressed gratitude to the DM for providing seeds of Napier grass.Sub-District Magistrate Sadar Yuvraj Singh and officials of Remount Depot were present with him.
