Major Dhyan Chand's Birthday to be Celebrated as Sports Day - Nirpal

Saharanpur : The birthday of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand will be celebrated as Sports Day on August 29, announced Choudhry Nirpal. At a meeting of the Rashtriya Lok Dal Sports Cell, Choudhry Nirpal directed party officials to expedite the membership drive and prepare for the upcoming Panchayat elections.
He emphasized that the party would contest the elections strongly under the leadership of Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary. Choudhry Nirpal urged party workers to prepare for the polls, expressing confidence that the Rashtriya Lok Dal would make a strong showing.
District President Rinku Sonkar and Metropolitan President Arvind Malik also spoke, highlighting the importance of promoting the ideology of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh.
The meeting was attended by Tarun Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Sethi, Upendra Sharma, Arif Malik, Ravi Valmiki, and Rambalram.
