 GPA's Core Committee Meeting Held With Five Key Points

Saharanpur : Gramin Patrkar Association's core committee meeting was held at the district office in Sharda Nagar, where five key points were discussed. The meeting began with General Secretary Ved Prakash Pandey presenting the agenda, which included the selection of a new District President, organizing a meeting of ordinary members, addressing the increasing incidents of harassment of journalists, re-forming the executive of various units, and appointing a woman coordinator.

The attendees, including senior journalists, expressed their opinions on the discussed points. Notably, they unanimously agreed that the current District President, Alok Taneja, is the most suitable person for the role. Taneja, in his address, emphasized the importance of finding leadership within the organization and called upon the Tehsil unit to work more actively.

Taneja also stressed that the core committee members should understand the feelings and expectations of their colleagues and play a role in damage control. He appealed to the committee to keep personal resentment aside and adhere to organizational decisions. 

Furthermore, he emphasized that no member should be removed from the organizational fold without valid reasons within a year of membership.The meeting concluded with a sense of unity and determination among the members to work towards the betterment of the organization and to protect the rights of journalists.
