 Gobind Singh,the head of Sant Nirankari Mandal, passes away

Saharanpur/UP: The head of Sant Nirankari Mandal, Gobind Singh passed away on 24 April 2021.He (86 years old)was reverently called 'Bhaiya Ji'.He was born on July 20, 1935 in District Jhelum (now in Pakistan).  His tenacity and extraordinary contributions will always be remembered in the history of the mission.  He was the founder chairman of the 51-member working committee formed by Baba Gurubachan Singh.  Further in the year 1987, Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj nominated him as the General Secretary of Sant Nirankari Mandal.  He continued his services as the Chairman of the annual Sant Samagam of Mission.

Gobind Singh very efficiently carried out various departments of Sant Nirankari Mandal- like land and building construction, establishment, general administration, branch administration and assemblage.  He performed all his services with dedication and full devotion.  He served as the first chairman of the Central Planning and Advisory Board of the Mission before assuming responsibility as the head of Sant Nirankari Mandal,Dharmendra said.

 He had two sons and a daughter in his family.  On 22 January 2009, his wife Charanjit Kaur, who was the daughter of Baba Avatar Singh, sacrificed her mortal body.Gobind Singh has left an indelible mark in the service of humanity through his great spiritual life which will continue to be a guide and source of inspiration for generations to come.
