    Two new oxygen plants inaugurated at Medical College

     Saharanpur / Up: At the time of a disaster, now Saharanpur will not have to depend on others for oxygen.  Two more oxygen plants at Sheikhul Hind Medical College Pilkhani were inaugurated on Saturday by Mayor Sanjeev Walia, MP Pradeep Chaudhary, MLA Devendra Nim, District Magistrate Akhilesh Singh, BJP District President Dr. Mahendra Saini, Metropolitan President Rakesh Jain and former MLA Rajiv Gumber.  Additional District Magistrate Finance Vinod Kumar, Dr. Arvind Trivedi, Principal of Medical College and several doctors of the college were also present.

     Two more oxygen plants have been duly inaugurated at Shaikhul Hind Maulana Mahmud Hasan Medical College on Saturday.  Later Mayor Sanjeev Walia and MP Pradeep Chaudhary said that this plant is a step taken to fulfill the announcement made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to set up 11 Oxygen plants in Saharanpur during his visit in Saharanpur.  Soon more plants will also be set up in Saharanpur.  Mayor Walia said that an oxygen plant is being passed in the proposal under his chairmanship and is being set up in the district hospital with the amount of 15th finance, that too will start soon.  He said that after starting in two new Oxygen Plant Medical College and one Saharanpur Hospital, people of Saharanpur will not have to wander around for oxygen in any disaster.

      District Magistrate Akhilesh Singh said that with the commissioning of these oxygen plants, the people of Saharanpur have got rid of the problem of bringing oxygen from other states.  He informed that about 175 cylinders of oxygen per day will be available from both the plants.  It is a great relief for the people of the city.

      Dr. Arvind Trivedi, Principal of Medical College, said that 500 liters per hour will be received from the Oxygen plant installed by PM Care and 815 liters per hour from the Oxygen Plant installed by the District Administration.  The plant set up from PM Care was sent directly to the Medical College by the Central Government.  Regarding the second oxygen plant, Additional District Magistrate Finance Vinod Kumar said that for this, one crore 90 lakh 40 thousand rupees have been given by the district administration.  About 175 cylinders will be obtained from both these plants.
