DCDF's annual general meeting organized
Saharanpur: DCDF's annual general meeting was held in Janmanch Sabhagar in which the state convenor and district in-charge Devendra Kumar Sharma was the chief guest who was welcomed by DCDF Chairman Sonendra Rana, Vice Chairman Vipin Chaudhary by giving flowers and covering him with a shawl.
Adressing the meeting Devendra Kumar Sharma said, " During the 70 years of Congress rule, no attention was paid to cooperatives due to which the graph of cooperatives fell a lot. Cooperative PACS were on the verge of closure but only after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, cooperatives were given the status of an independent cooperative ministry and Amit Shah was made the Union Minister and given the reins of cooperatives due to which cooperatives are continuously setting new dimensions in the whole country."
"Cooperatives have opened 10000 new PACS and cooperatives are being linked with dairy and fisheries and storage and pesticides and fertilizers due to which the business of cooperatives is growing.Cooperative banks are also being digitized for which computers and computer operators are being arranged. Transactions will also be possible digitally in cooperative banks." he added.
The meeting was attended by several dignitaries, includig District President Dr. Mahendra Saini, DCDF Chairman, former Block Pramukh Bijender Chaudhary, former DCDF Chairman Krishna Kumar Pundir, former MLA Naresh Saini, former District President Vijendra Kashyap, former MLA Sushil Chaudhary, former DCDF Chairman Krishna Kumar Pundir and other . The meeting was conducted by IFFCO Director Abhay Chaudhary.
